My Experience & Qualifications of Teaching
Hello, and thank you for visiting ELT Experiences! My name is Martin Sketchley, and for nearly 20 years I’ve had the privilege of teaching English to students across the globe. Originally from the UK, I’ve always been passionate about languages, cultures, and the transformative power of education. My journey has taken me to six countries, giving me unforgettable opportunities to teach diverse learners and even to challenge myself by learning Korean.
Throughout my career, I’ve helped students unlock their potential, whether through building confidence in everyday communication or achieving life-changing success in the IELTS exam. Many of my learners have gone on to study at leading universities in the UK, and it has been truly inspiring to be part of their journey.
My qualifications include a BA (Hons) in International Business, a CELTA, a Diploma in English Language Teaching, an MA, and the TYLEC (Trinity Young Learner Extension Certificate). Each reflects my commitment to growth and to delivering the very best learning experiences.
