As an English Language Teacher with a native-like English proficiency (CELTA Certified from IH LONDON, IELTS 8.0, C2 Proficiency), and with a 7 years' experience in teaching EFL/ESL in KSA, as well as 8 years in various educational leadership roles, I bring an original set of skills and rich experience to the educational field.
My knowledge of teaching EFL/ESL in the Saudi Arabia is thorough and kept up to date by my continuous self-professional development. I have not only taught it, but I have also been training teachers in this field, mentoring them as well as observing their teaching practice.
Curriculum development, e-learning and integrating technology in teaching are also areas I am passionate about, and I am constantly developing my theoretical and practical knowledge in my specialty. I have developed extensive intercultural competencies, which are vital in this part of the world to successfully manage any educational institution.
My objective is to use my management skills gained throughout my career in the GCC to improve educational system, at the college/university level.
I am a forward-thinking team leader, and I believe in collaborative team work where I motivate my team in achieving the best they can and tap into unknown potential. Challenges are motivational and inspirational stepping-stones that I love to take on.
