About Me

I have been teaching EFL for nearly twelve years now, with teaching experience in South Korea, Romania as well as the UK.  Currently, I am the Young Learner Co-ordinator at LTC Eastbourne.  I am responsible for curriculum development as well as the training of current Young Learner teachers. I am also a freelance certified examiner for Cambridge ESOL Examinations usually marking the KET, PET, FCE and CAE exams.  In my freetime, I enjoy reading, preparing lessons, listening to music, learning Korean, as well as attending and giving talks at local or international conferences.

I hold an MA in English Language Teaching from the University of Sussex, hold a Diploma, CELTA and have also completed the Trinity Young Learners Extension Course (TYLEC).  I have a keen interest in researching teacher methodology, pedagogy, as well as the use of technology and blogging, for both learners and teachers.

In my free-time, I enjoy listening to jazz music and I also play saxophone. I try to read a lot but not as much as I would like. Please feel free to contact me should you wish for me to write book reviews, offer teacher training or consultancy.
